Metal Gear Solid Delta Remake supports 60 FPS on PC only
Metal Gear Solid Delta Remake is one of the most anticipated games even before it is officially revealed, and the closer we get, the more excitement increases by all means, but the game's performance on console platforms may annoy players a bit.
I explained Konami company Recently, the upcoming remake does not have a 60fps mode on console platforms, so the only platform that will be able to provide such an experience is the PC.
As Konami has stated, Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will have two modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the first of which will be at 4K/30fps, while the second will be at 1080p with higher framerates. We don't know yet whether the development team will lock the framerate at around 40fps, or leave it unlocked, but what we do know is that it won't be able to get close to 60fps.
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater will run on Unreal Engine 5, and we expect developers to take advantage of all the popular visual technologies on the engine like Lumen and Nanite. As we’ve seen, most, if not all, games running on Unreal Engine 5 struggle to run at 60 frames per second on home consoles.
As we mentioned a few days ago, Avowed will also launch at 30fps on Xbox Series X, and yes the game uses the same engine so that's to be expected.
The developers promised to share more details about the game in the coming period, including revealing the release date, in addition to providing a public demo on home consoles and PC. Until then, share with us your opinion about the game’s performance on next-gen consoles and do you think it is less than expected?
